This past summer, my little sister got married. We’re only a year and half apart in age, so growing up we were really close in age. Sometimes that meant not liking each other a whole lot though. However, we grew a lot closer when we ended up at the same college.

When she asked me to be her Maid of Honor, it wasn’t exactly a surprise, but I was ecstatic regardless. So much planning, so many pretty things to consider! Being my sister, she automatically knew she wanted to have personalized tote bags made for her entire bridal party. Each girl was given a tote with their name in beautiful calligraphy inside of a hot pink heart. Even the mother of the bride and groom, sisters of the groom, and flower girls were included! The personalized totes were such a hit, because not only could the girls use them on the day of the wedding to tote around all of the essentials – it was a bag that they would continue to use on an everyday basis. I’m not kidding, even I use mine every day, and every day it is a reminder of the fun we all had together on her wedding day. She’s always been the little sister that I looked up to and I was so happy that she had found her soulmate – a man that could keep up with the amazingly strong and empowered woman that she is. I was so thankful to be part of her big day, and that she wanted Wedding Bags to be a part of it too.
